LEHACHZIKOM was established and acts in order to prevent and relieve poverty and financial hardship from individuals and families within the community who have fallen on hard times, by providing them with money to enable them to access the basic essentials of life such as food, clothing, basic furniture, heating, and other necessities; to make their lives more bearable currently and in the future and to improve their quality of life, their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, and that of their families, in a way that preserves their dignity.
